Surfer Bedding

A surfer’s bedroom should be a reflection of the surfer who sleeps there, so there’s no question when it comes to surfer bedding, it should be unique and cool.  To find the perfect surfer bedding, you don’t need to go on a wild goose chase, you simply need to check out a few of the coolest bedding stores out there, it’ll be as easy as 1, 2, 3… A surfer’s bedding set should contain a few key elements.  First, your surfer bedding should have big waves or some key beach elements like a surf board, palm trees, sandy beach, hammocks, etc.  If you go with a surf brand for your surfer bedding, then it should feature the logo and colors that you are looking for, or you can always find bedding featuring your favorite surfer icon.

If you know who sponsors your favorite surfer, such as Billabong, Oneill, etc. you may want to look at their bedding first to see if they offer cool shots of them on the surfer bedding.  Otherwise, you can always find custom bedding companies that can create a photographic surfer bedding set, using your own photos or really wicked designs.

It’s really important to make sure that the rest of the room adds to the coolness of the surfer bedding, so if you have old or broken surf boards, you can cut them in half, and mount them on the wall as shelves.  Or, create a life size mural of waves that covers one or more walls in the room next to your bed and new surfer bedding set.  If you’re also an artist or very creative person, some plaster can be used to create a 3D surfboard with arms and legs hanging from the ceiling above your surfer bedding, or just to give your walls a rough, water-like texture before painting them.
